A Modern Space Crafted for Families

Jordan Creek intentionally breaks away from the traditional funeral home model, which often consisted of private residences or repurposed buildings. About 90 percent of the space is tailored for family and guest use.

What this means is:

  • Spacious, inviting public areas
  • Limited back-of-house space
  • Clear sightlines and an intuitive flow from one room to another
  • Finishes and lighting that feel contemporary, warm, and thoughtfully chosen

From the moment families step inside, it’s easy to see where to go and what to expect. Jordan Creek also offers spacious and thoughtfully designed conference rooms that are perfect for arrangements and planning.

Each of these two large rooms comes equipped with:

  • Large monitors to facilitate planning discussions
  • Built-in storage and custom millwork
  • Refrigerated beverage storage for refreshments
  • Cozy seating and contemporary lighting

Families can comfortably spend extended periods in these rooms without the need to wander around the building. Everything necessary for planning is conveniently located right there, allowing conversations to flow smoothly and without rush.

The space also features educational displays that aid in thoughtful decision-making, covering important topics like burial vaults, memorial options, monuments, and keepsakes.

A Bright and Adaptable Chapel

The chapel at Jordan Creek is spacious, airy, and bathed in natural light.

It comforably seats up to 200 guests.

Windows are strategically placed high to let in daylight while ensuring privacy. Frosted glass elements allow light to filter in while keeping the outside world out of view.

The front of the chapel is anchored by floor-to-ceiling stonework.

Large video screens and a top-notch sound system enhance music, tributes, and spoken words, delivering exceptional clarity.

The chapel is thoughtfully designed to accommodate both traditional services and memorials focused on cremation. With custom display options, urns, photographs, and personal mementos can be showcased with care and intention.

A Lobby Designed for Gathering

The main lobby at Jordan Creek sets the mood for the entire building.

Wood paneling flows from the ceiling to the covered entrance outside, creating a seamless visual experience as families arrive. The presence of large chandeliers, a central fireplace, and open seating areas makes the space feel comfortable and inviting rather than overly formal.

Reception and guest check-in are easy to spot, ensuring that families and guests always know exactly where to go.

Reception Space That Supports Full Celebrations

Jordan Creek places a strong emphasis on receptions and gatherings. Across from the chapel, there’s a spacious reception room that:

  • Easily accommodates 100 seated guests
  • Can accommodate larger gatherings when necessary
  • Features large video displays for tributes or family-shared content
  • Offers copious natural light, with adjustable blinds for privacy

A kitchenette is available for light service within the room, while a full catering kitchen behind the scenes provides everything needed for catered meals, reheating, food storage, and large-scale receptions. This setup allows families to host meaningful gatherings without ever needing to leave the building.

Reception Experiences at Jordan Creek

Jordan Creek was intentionally designed to support meaningful gatherings after a service. Families come together in different ways, and this space allows for flexibility without ever needing to leave the building.

We offer two distinct reception styles at Jordan Creek, each shaped around how a family wants to gather.

Connect and Reflect

Connect and Reflect is designed for a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It works well for families who want a flexible, come-and-go gathering where guests can greet the family, share conversation, and enjoy light refreshments.

This style typically includes a mix of seated and standing tables, allowing guests to move comfortably through the room. Some may stay for an extended visit, while others may stop in briefly to offer condolences.

Light lunch selections, appetizers, grazing boards, desserts, and specialty dietary options are available. Coffee, tea, and lemonade are included, and video tributes or music can be shared throughout the space.

Audio and visual capabilities are available for tributes, and bar service may be arranged if desired.

Remembrance Gathering

The Remembrance Gathering offers a more traditional, seated experience. It is well suited for families who wish to share a meal together and spend unhurried time in conversation following the service.

Guests are seated at tables, creating space for connection and, if desired, personal remarks or reflections. Brunch options and buffet-style meals with entrée and side dishes are available, allowing families to tailor the gathering to their preferences. Video tributes or music can be shared throughout the space.

A Different Kind of Funeral Home

Jordan Creek is intentionally designed as a Life Celebration Center. While it fully supports funeral and memorial services, the space is particularly well-suited for families who wish to host a reception, gathering, or celebration as part of honoring a life.

The overall atmosphere is modern, refined, and purpose-built. It doesn’t resemble older funeral homes that have been updated over the years. Instead, it showcases what’s possible when a space is designed specifically for how families come together today.
